  • Protection Coverage: Rentals covered up to specified limits for damage and theft
  • 24/7 Support: Our team is available to help resolve any issues

  • Service Fee: 20% of rental price added to renter's total (non-refundable)
  • Listing: Completely free to list items
  • Currency: All fees processed in CZK
  • VAT: Czech VAT applies where required

Report issues via our app or support email within 24 hours of rental end:

  • Use the in-app reporting feature
  • Email support@markett.cz
  • Include photos and detailed description of the issue
  • Provide rental ID and user information

Refunds are processed according to our cancellation policy:

  • Free cancellation: Up to 48 hours before rental start
  • Late cancellation: Fees may apply for cancellations within 48 hours
  • Force majeure: Illness or emergencies considered case-by-case
  • Processing: Refunds processed within 5 business days

Yes, lenders are responsible for reporting rental income according to Czech tax law:

  • Consult with a tax accountant for specific advice
  • Keep records of all rental income and expenses
  • Consider any applicable deductions
  • File appropriately with Czech tax authorities

We accept multiple secure payment methods (CZK only):

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard via Stripe
  • Bank Transfers: Direct bank transfers
  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Local Methods: GoPay and other Czech payment solutions

All payments are secure and PCI-compliant.

Markett Protection

Covers rentals up to 50,000 CZK per item for damage/theft (excluding negligence).

  • Report claims within 48h post-rental
  • Excludes pre-existing damage and misuse
  • Review process takes up to 3 days

Optional user insurance recommended for additional coverage.

Prohibited Items

The following items are banned from our platform:

  • • Weapons/firearms/explosives
  • • Drugs/narcotics/perishables
  • • Hazardous materials
  • • Animals/live plants
  • • Illegal/counterfeit goods
  • • Unlicensed vehicles

Violations lead to account bans.
